Gee, it certainly was shocking that INXS loved JD's "original" song which just so happened to be sung to a track THEY WROTE. So it's really shocking that he got the encore. Really.

That was so blatently unfair. I thought he sucked. But then I find him hammy and annoying to listen to (and watch), so that's to be expected. They really are all terrible songwriters. "Ew" is the only word that comes to mind. Anyway, I think INXS should just pick JD at this point, though. JD is the type of guy that cougars will feel like they have a shot with when they find him hunched over a glass of cheap whiskey at a hotel bar after another poorly attended INXS concert. And that's because they will have a shot with him. He'll pitifully try to have drunken sex with each and every one of these desperate rock-hag cougars, probably vomiting and passing out in the process about 85% of the time and then they'll have a story to brag about and giggle over with their other cougar girlfriends. And they'll also have the clap. But the world will be as it should.
